Occupation- Educated Presbyterian Preacher

Objectives
I am an American Preacher from Hanover Street Church in Boston, Massachusetts. It is my goal to begin a Second Great Awakening and defend orthodoxy (claims to have fully preserved, without any deviation, the traditions and doctrines of the early Christian church established by the apostles). It is also important to know that I am strongly against Unitarianism (three part Christian theology) and Catholicism. I fear that if I don't act then Catholicism could take over the country. As a second goal, I intend on promoting conservative abolitionism.
In order to acomplish these goals, I need your help. After reading this resume as well as hearing my argument I hope that you will find it in the best intrest of the nation to give me the money as well as supplies needed to promote my theory. That is why I have come here today.

Helpful Characteristics and Experience
The following features of my personality as well as events in my past have led me to believe that I need to promote my religion and that others should follow it:
  • a descendant of one of the founders of the New Haven colony
  • worked as a blacksmith and on my uncle's farm
  • Graduated from Yale, having studied much theology under Timothy Dwight
  • have preeched in many churches such as those in East Hampton, Long Island, Litchfield, and currently at Hanover Street.
  • President of Lane Theological Seminary
  • devoted to literature
  • against dueling and other nonesential violence
These previous experiences as well as my knowledge of multiple faiths lead me to believe that Orthodoxy is the most proper and correct religion. Everyone should convert to this religion.

Reasons for What I Do
Catholicism has begun to spread quickly as well as other Unitary religions that allow people to follow what they believe as well as the teachings of the churches. In addition to that, a large number of people have just stopped believing altogether. Religion is the foundation of our newly established country and it shoud be kept at that level of importance. Religion is become too diverse and there are too many newly established religions, it is my goal to reunite the country.

References
James Hayfield- This man is now in the congregation at my Hanover Street Church. He says that because of my his soul is saved and he now knows the basis and reasons for his religion rather than just attending. It is my pleasure to ask you to refernce him, he will defiatly give you more reasons why I am a good man to be given money to.
Timithy Dwight- He was my theology professor while attending Yale. He taught me very much about my faith as well as about life in general. He will acknowlege the fact that I was an exceptional student and now are very comprehensive about my faith as well as the other religions of the country.

Conclusion
Finally, I will ask you once again to accept my plea for money and supplies. I have proved that it is worth your while and give you my word that I will use the given materials to make this country a better place to live.
Thank You for your time.
